Triumphant return to the gym? (maybe...)
May. 30th, 2008 11:26 pmI've decided to dump my gym, for various reasons. A co worker scored me a 2-week guest pass to Bally's, which I activated yesterday. I had a lovely workout, and it wasn't even crowded. (Thursdays are reportedly slow; I must drop by on a Monday or Tuesday and see how mobbed things are then.)
I have a few more options to investigate. There's a place in Redondo Beach that has a gym *and* tai chi classes -- Yang style! -- at a time I could actually attend!! And I also want to give LA Fitness a try. (Sadly the nearest Spectrum and Gold's are quite far away.) So we'll see what I end up with.
This is also sating my current deep need to punt something. (I can't punt my job unless I get a new one, and I apparently actually care about the dragon boat team so that's also out.) It's nice to have *something* I can do something about.
