Today
stuartc and I bundled up and drove to the beach just before sunset to see if we could catch a glimpse of Comet McNaught. It was bloody freezing and we didn't actually bundle up nearly enough. But we did see the comet! Our photographic evidence of this event is right up there with our photographic evidence of seeing a bear at Sequoia. ("Look! A fuzzy blob!")
The weather in our living room is considerably warmer, with occasional gusts of purring cats. Amusingly, while Stuart was downloading the pictures from the camera and saying, "Look! A fuzzy blob!" Findo chose that moment to jump into my lap. Fuzzy blobs all round!
Sooooo sleepy now. Maybe tea will help.
