It never fails.

I bought some cute shoes a week or two ago, and am wearing them to work today, for the second time.

I also bought a really gorgeous shirt yesterday, which I am wearing to work today, obviously for the first time.

4 or 5 people have complimented me today... on the shoes.

YAY!

The sweetest words I've heard all day: "Hey, have you lost weight?"

Finally! Someone besides me has noticed! Yay!

(Okay, there are a couple of people who have been keeping track, but they've all been prompted. As far as I know, this one was entirely unprovoked.)
