ah...

Drove home like a madwoman after dropping stuartc off at work this morning; did the programming test in just under the 3 hours allotted; screamed at the Internet which had chosen that exact moment to fall over; phoned some people up to complain about this, which promptly brought the Internet back; mailed in the test; picked up stuartc at work and navigated while he drove us around to look at the outsides of houses for rent; came back and had some lunch. Whew!

Some thoughts, in no particular order:

There are few things nicer, after a long hard morning, than sitting on the deck, eating lunch, enjoying the lovely weather, and listening to the sounds of other people working.

My word, those strawberries and avocadoes went off fast. (Dare I even look at the celery?)

Yay, I do remember how to code.

and, finally: Wow, I really have been working my butt off this week. So much for the assumption that unemployment would mean loads of free time...
