Holy crap! From the LA Times...

Dynamite Burn Interrupts Morning Commute

"The San Diego Freeway in the Van Nuys area was closed this morning for safety reasons, creating long delays for commuters, so that firefighters could destroy a cache of dynamite found nearby. ..."

At least I can NEVER claim this place is boring...
