Bride's big day
A bride's dress was so big it got stuck in the church door.
(Full story is worth reading because each detail is more ludicrous than the last. For those unfamilar with British units, 25 stone == 350 pounds.)

Disabled bay painted around car
A council has apologised to a woman who was fined £60 after workmen painted a disabled bay around her car.

And finally, don't talk on your mobile phone during a thunderstorm.

A 25,000 pound wedding dress for a 16-year-old bride marrying a 17-year-old groom. Wow. And yes, the details are well worth gawking at.

Hm, if that's the case with a cell phone, anyone with piercings is also in trouble.

I'm guessing most piercings won't cover the opening of the ear, but I could be wrong. The kids these days will pierce anything...

I've met a few people with tragus piercings, and photos of a great many. (Extraneous trivia: it's reputed by many to be the most painful of piercings; one person I spoke to said it wasn't the most painful but was the most disconcerting-sounding while it was being done. From what I've heard, eyebrows are, for many people, the least painful.)

Reminds me of the Mythbusters ep where they made a head of conductive gelatine, pierced it thoroughly, and exposed it to the electric company's lightning simulator. Must see TV.
