Never plant chives in the garden unless you really, REALLY like a lot of chives. And under no circumstances, ever, should one plant mint.

Yeah, our oregano was under control until I rescued it from the incursion of grass... now it's utterly out of hand. Oh well, soon enough it'll be someone else's problem...
