I am so picky...

Grammatical peeves for today: "a criteria" and (new one!) "lense" apparently intended as the singular of "lenses", as in "contact lense fitting".

(Yes, I know I need to get out more. But if I spend an hour at the beach every time the web annoys me, I'll be picked up for vagrancy within a week...)

One good thing about this stint in the Oakwood: it's been quite quiet. I mean, I don't even know if there's anyone in the apartment above us. And being away from the street is marvelous - although some morning people seem to have discovered the tennis court recently, which wasn't the best. Still beats fire engines and drunken pedestrians...
