Comments aren't getting mailed with any reliability. But if you go to the "My LJ" portal thingy, you can see the last 5 comments that you got. Yay, useful!

Where do you find these thing?! I am but a dumb end-user, and I do not see that (or the userpics thing you posted about a while ago) anywhere in my menus...

Perhaps more caffeine is required to enhance my powers of perception...

I find it useful to have a TobyTM around. I find it a very useful device for keeping me up to date with things like this. Otherwise I'd have given up long ago :-)
