afraid so. We've not been to Sequoia National Park; when does it start getting snow?

Some years it starts getting snow in October. (Yes, we have tire chains. No, we never actually practiced putting them on.)

According to weather.com, it's still only hitting the 40s at night there at the moment. It doesn't say what elevation that's at, of course.

(Must remember to make an icon of the bear-shaped blur I photographed...)
