I FINISHED A THING!!
I finished the Prototype V-neck T-shirt 1.0.
As annoyed as I am with this pattern, I think I'll make one more test shirt before setting it on fire and trying a new one. But only because printing, tracing, and cutting out PDF pattern pieces is such a hassle. :P
I think with a drapier fabric, and actually knowing when to stretch the neckband, it should work much better.

Things I have learned include, but are not limited to: the meanings of TWO different clicking sounds from my sewing machine(*); yes, it is wise to wind multiple bobbins before starting the actual sewing; holy crap, it is actually possible to run out of one of those giant spools of Guttermann thread; hand basting is my friend; and it is surprisingly easy to sew with a giant honking floater in your good eye. (More on that later.)
(*) One means, "Help, I am stuck in a thread nest for no reason." The other means "Yo, we're out of bobbin thread AGAIN. Surprise!"
